Employer Matching Gifts

Many employers will match their employee’s charitable gifts through company matches. This means that any donation you make to Meals on Wheels could potentially be doubled with the help of your company. Some companies also reward employees for volunteering in the community by providing volunteer grants to the nonprofit you volunteer with. Many companies also have corporate foundations that fund the nonprofit’s their employees support. To find out if your company has any such programs contact your human resources department.

Stock Gifts

Meals on Wheels accepts donations of publicly traded stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

Meals on Wheels plans events throughout the year that help raise funds for our programs and provide fun ways to support our mission.

Host A Food Drive

Foods collected from food drives help provide nearly 350,000 hot, nutritious meals annually to people in Greenville County. We use a variety of canned, packaged and nonperishable items to feed our clients.

Pet Food

On the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month we send packages of dry dog food and cat food to those recipients with pets. After all, when the owner is homebound, so is the pet. This program is made available entirely by private contributions from people like you.
